Using "Point of View" in the Documentation of a Place or Space
Choose a place or space that is either significant to you personally, or for which you feel a particular affinity. This could be anywhere from the interior of your car, to your grandmother’s house, to a special spot in the woods….a local diner, the path along which you walk the dog each day, etc.
You are being asked to document this place or space using ten specific points of view, with the resulting imagery presenting a visually diverse and meaningful visual experience for the viewer. Upon viewing your work, we should get a potent sense of this place or space, as well as what this place means to the photographer. You will be “telling” us about this place using ten to twelve finished prints, all of which will be presented as a unified body of work. Keep this in mind when considering levels of exposure and contrast. All of your completed images should strive to look the same in regard to technical issues, while presenting a varied and rich documentation. You must include at least one example of each of the following points of view, and may include more than one of any given point. 10 image minimum. Shoot a lot! POINTS OF VIEW:
